Nu Source Solutions (NSS) was founded in 2011 by Jon Bowman. After spending many years of managing GAS International, Jon purchased the assets of GAS International and formed NuSource Solutions (NSS). GAS was founded in 1979 and was an industry leader in the management and disposition of excess, overstock and surplus inventories of telecom and electronic equipment. Nu Source's concept was to provide the same level of expertise and service as GAS and continue to be an industry leader in the asset disposition and inventory management of telecommunications and electronics equipment. Today Nu Source is proud to continue the services of inventory management and asset disposition for large corporations. Nu Source also makes large purchases of bankrupt and liquidation inventories, specializing in semiconductors, components, subassemblies and finished equipment. Nu Source maintains a warehouse in Arlington, Texas and a warehouse in Brockville, Ontario, Canada.

Our Team

Rick Bowman Director : After graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in

Engineering Science, Rick spent seven years as a systems engineer with Northern Telecom then three years as a senior engineer. After that Rick moved to becoming the digital switching manager of marketing and planning and spent three years in that capacity at Northern Telecom. Rick then spent 19 years as manager of marketing and planning at Brock Telecom. In 1996 Rick joined G.A.S. International and was the Director of the Canada operations.  He continued to serve in the same capacity after Jon Bowman acquired the assets from G.A.S. International and the name changed to Nu Source Solutions

Jon Bowman President: Mr. Bowman has been in the telecom and electronic business for the last 15 years.

After working at Nortel Mr. Bowman decided to join G.A.S International, a telecom hardware resale company. After 11 years Jon had moved from sales rep to President of sales and eventually VP of G.A.S. After numerous changes in telecommunications hardware industry Mr. Bowman decided to make a move and started Nu Source Solutions to provide a top notch service for their clients.

Carl Hargove Chief Operating Officer: Mr. Hargrove has more than 45 years of experience in the electronics industry with

responsibility for operations, sales, and asset management in the industrial distribution market. Prior to Nu Source Solutions, Mr. Hargrove was engaged in inventory management for Enseo (set-top box manufacturer located in Richardson, TX).  Prior to that he was strategic account manager for America II Electronics and also served as VP and owner with two regional distributors with multiple locations
